She learned of the connection between the historical facts surrounding her artwork presented at the Water and Land Art Festival 2015 and Shibata city in Niigata prefeture, which led her to research the city of Shibata. She learned about Kempoji Temple, a temple with an atmospheric pond in its garden, which led her to exhibit “Seigoro-san” there.
Thanks to the generous support of the local people, not only the installation and operation of the exhibition, but also various events such as opening performances, workshops, live performances, and talks were spontaneously held during the exhibition period.
水と土の芸術祭2015で発表した作品をめぐる史実と新潟県新発田市とのつながりを知り、新発田市をリサーチ。庭に趣のある池が残っている顕法寺を知り、そこで「清五郎さん」を展示することとなった。 地元の方々の手厚いサポートにより、展示の設置・運営だけでなく、オープニングパフォーマンスやワークショップ、ライブ、トークなど様々なイベントが会期中に自然発生的に開催された。
