In this work, she transforms the time of each day, which is lost only by scratching due to the skin eczema she was born with, into a record of the time and day that is created by scratching. Each day, she scratches a layer of gauze sewn onto a postcard with the same intensity with which she scratches her own body that day. She mails them one by one to her family and friends. She is always ready to scratch, no matter what time of day it is. It is a life’s work that continues even now.
2019年の日本で既に136万人以上の患者数が確認されているアトピー性皮膚炎（注1）は、世界中で急増し続けている。重症化すると日常生活も困難になり、不眠やうつ病を併発することも多い。
本作は、掻くことしかできずに零れ落ちていく日々の時間を、掻くことで生まれる時間と明日へ変える。
一日一枚、ポストカードに縫い付けたガーゼの層を、その日からだを掻く強さで掻く。それらを一枚ずつ家族や友人へ郵送する。掻くことだけはいつでもできた。いまも続いているライフワーク。
